A new Terminator game has been mooted for release today, with a new interactive take on Arnie's eponymous robot from the future set for launch in 2009.



The Hollywood Reporter reveals that Terminator IP owners Halcyon have started a brand new division, which will create a new game based on new Termie flick Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins. The new game is set for the seemingly inevitable "next-generation consoles, PC and mobile."


Word from Halcyon has it that the new Terminator title has been in production for a couple of months, and remains a distant prospect. A summer 2009 debut is predicted, at the same time as the new movie.
Okay really I am sick of Ahnold and this whole series. But that's just me.

Agreed. The Terminator is great, I'm a fan of the movies but the games.....nah. Let them die!
